This scripture is how what inspired Lorena to name this “The Temple Workout”
This isn’t a typical workout in the sense you come, beat yourself up, sweat and leave mindlessly; no, this is a Temple Workout, where you will honour God through the strengthening of your body’s aka Temples!
Lorena has transformed people’s bodies and lives through fitness and nutrition for over 10 years. She ran and operated a successful personal training and nutrition business downtown Toronto for years. She competed in fitness competitions, was a sponsored athlete and fitness model for a protein company and made her way into a couple of fitness magazines;
Unfortunately through that process of overtraining for the fitness competitions and a car accident which totalled her car and almost took her life, she was left unable to do normal physical activities for over a year. It's been a a long road, slowly she had to relearn to move her body… by the Grace of God alone, she learned how to rebuild her body/temple; It was through finding Jesus and the Holy Spirit that Lorena was truly able to heal and rebuild her body, giving all the honour and praise to God for saving her life and teaching her to rebuild her body with her previous knowledge and expertise as well as her knew relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
This workout is different because we will invite the Holy Spirit into our workout and glorify God through every movement.
We move with gentleness yet power while learning self discipline!
We honour God and our temples that he has given us.
As mentioned it will be a time to worship and give thanks and praise for all that Jesus has done for us and all that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with, for instance the ability to connect with our community, the ability to move our bodies and the ability to laugh and grow along with so many other blessings.
This workout isn’t focusing on weight but on getting our temples strong and healthy because the Lord wants us in healthy bodies so that we can stand firm during these times….the bonus will be that you will see the physical body changing getting stronger, leaner and more toned; but our goal is for you to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit who dwells in your temple.
I’m excited to announce that not through my strength or will but His that The Temple Workout will be coming to You if you desire to take this journey and strengthen your body.
Classes will start on October 12th and will run every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm!
Classes are for everyone so get your family together and let’s workout and worship together!
From beginners to experienced and intermediate there’s something for everyone.
If you are intermediate or avid exerciser this will complement your existing workout program.
